Scholarships

We award scholarships named in memory of Rev. Charles Fluellen who was very passionate about the Youth Explosion of Bartow County. The scholarships are awarded to recent high school graduates and current college students whose lives have been impacted by their attendance at Youth Explosion events over the past fifteen years.

INSTRUCTIONS and ELIGIBILITY:

Completed application and transcript must be submitted prior to the deadline of 11:59 pm on July 15th.

Applicants should complete the appropriate application. There are two short answer questions and one essay that must be answered in order for the application to be reviewed. Any incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college/university or be a high school graduate as of May 2024. Applicants must have attended at least two Youth Explosion events within the last five years, with one of the activities being the annual summer event. Students cannot receive this scholarship in consecutive years.
